Dateline: Marblehead. While relaxing on the lakehouse's deck, we happened to notice an animal barely keeping its head above water in the channel where all the boats are docked. My niece Dakota jumped into the channel and saved this nearly fledge bird. I'm tentatively ID'ing it as a juvenile mockingbird, but if anyone has a better insight, please post!!I'm REALLY proud of Dakota. That was quite a feat!!
