C.C. is the Tribe's starting pitcher. He's been in for a whole 3 innings so far! And we are leading 5-0 going into the top of the 4th. I LOVE this! Gotta eat my grilled sausage w/peppers, onions, and mustard now!

I'm deliriously, happily married to Rick. We have a basenji named Cleopatra and 3 manic (as a result of the dog) cats. They all appear on the blog regularly, as does the garden. On occasion, you may mistake this for the local Ag Report, but I assure you I am an artist, and eventually my work will make an appearance. In the meantime, I find enjoyment in life's daily distractions. We work to be part of the solution in Cleveland as members of a giving circle called The Cleveland Colectivo, giving microgrants to grassroots neighborhood projects throughout Cleveland and the inner-ring suburbs. Wow! I feel like such a slacker when I come back and look at your blog.
These baseball posts were fun.
I can't wait till my grandchildren are old enough to take to a game.
And once again, you've made me hungry....
Well, Robert, I have to recommend spring training to you then. It is more relaxed and free than regular season, a bit like going to a minor league game, but with the big league players. The best part? You're very close to the action! I've got great pictures to load onto Flickr. I just need the time to do it.
Melissa, sorry!! Food, and enjoying it, is a blessing. I don't pig out, but I do make sure that whatever I put in my body is well worth it.
This was at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, FL. It's a newer facility. They had way WAY better food than the Indians' ballpark in Winter Haven. I appreciate it when I get good food at a ballpark. It doesn't have to be fancy, just fresh, and perhaps something a little out of the ordinary. Like the sausage with grilled veg.
