Erie Beacon
The Light.
Wow. It's really magnificent.
Marblehead Lighthouse is the longest continuously-used light in the United States.
Today it was a landmark washed by intermittent rain, and visited by people in garish t-shirts who largely looked at the spectacle and commented, "is that all??!?"
Not us. We visited with all our senses.
The waves concussed the Lake Erie shore with such force we could not discern the spray from the rain. It was perfect lighthouse weather.
