Umm... Lunchtime??

The spider on the back porch is eating, confirming my observations that it is growing. Pretty neat!!

Yes, I'm still arachnophobic. It's a phobia, it's hard to shake that irrational fear. But this creature is outside, where it ought to be, and it built such a glorious web, I feel compelled to respect and admire it, and live alongside of it.

It's not poisonous, and it doesn't take up much space. I'm happy to share my porch with it.
