The Zombie Walk wasn't enough. Mom Garcia's birthday party, though delightful and very very wonderful, was also apparently not enough excitement. Nope. To end our wildly eventful day, we are at The Happy Dog, home of the world's best hot dogs (also the widest variety of toppings, each more amazing than the last), to see Dan Phillips and friends perform. Fantastic. So completely awesome. Zapruder Point puts on a great show.

Today is the first training ride of the 2010 Pedal to the Point season!! And what better way to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Apollo 13 Mission launch. They have assured me that there would be no need for rescue, and they certainly didn't leave at 13:13, but I'm standing by with the bike rack on the car. Failure may not be an option, but accidents happen, and it's better to be prepared!
