Today is the day Budhi took her cloth off the loom. It's close to 9 yards long. So completely awesome. Budhi is not in the picture, that's Tammi and Bishnu (and Bishnu's daughter) holding Budhi's cloth. Budhi is shy! Her work is very exciting, though. Budhi's work is bold enough to stand on its own; in time perhaps we will see her become more outgoing, too!!

Here is a tiny sample of the cloth being created right here in Cleveland by women from Bhutan. The goal is that we turn this fabric over to other Bhutanese craftspeople to sew into sturdy messenger bags to sell so there will be some income for these people.
